Watch The Possession Movie with Full HD Format

Based on a true story, The Possession is the terrifying account of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil. Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. But as Em's behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst, only to discover that the box was built to contain a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host. -- (C) Lionsgate

Review For The Possession

Director Ole Bornedal doesn't add a single idea of his own.
Ben Sachs-Chicago Reader

There may be need for an exorcist, but the power of Christ isn't going to compel the Jewish demon wreaking havoc in this competent but shopworn horror film.
Keith Staskiewicz-Entertainment Weekly

The first half of The Possession is suitably atmospheric and reasonably creepy.
Stephanie Zacharek-Film.com

The film is basically a compendium of possessed-child clichés reaching back to The Exorcist.
Adam Nayman-Globe and Mail

Another horror movie about a little girl possessed by a demon? Seriously?
Rafer Guzman-Newsday

The script, credited to Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, adheres so closely to formula that it's possible to predict not only which characters will end up dead, but in what order ...
Lou Lumenick-New York Post

...a better-than-expected variation on an exceedingly hoary theme...
David Nusair-Reel Film Reviews

Puppet-master technique and a generally well orchestrated sense of moodiness help this chiller deliver on more than it botches, despite a fumbled third act.
Brent Simon-Shockya.com

"The Possession" offers a few scares here and there. But, mostly it's a retread of spooky films that went before.
Paul Chambers-Movie Chambers

The movie is well-appointed if not terribly well thought-out.
Rob Gonsalves-eFilmCritic.com

Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neill give mesmerizingly out-there performances as a troubled couple trying to hold it together for their young son.
Betsy Sherman-Boston Phoenix

While frustratingly vague in terms of character and motivation, The Possession is among the more competent of recent studio horror efforts. If only that wasn't the best thing I could say about it.
Rob Humanick-Projection Booth

When it comes to exorcism movies, the Catholics have the Jews beat
Robert Denerstein-Movie Habit

Disquieting, lush in style, and most importantly, emotionally engaging, The Possession is a throwback to celebrated cinematic horror of old.
Jeremy Wheeler-TV Guide's Movie Guide

In lesser hands, The Possession would simply feel like a blatant rip-off from horror days of yore. Yet Bornedal's well-crafted feature proves far better than expected.
Ed Gibbs-The National

The Possession fails to differentiate itself from standard exorcism stories and movie experiences - even if it is 'Based on True Events.'
Ben Kendrick-ScreenRant

... a stale and shameless rip-off of The Exorcist ...
Jim Lane-Sacramento News & Review

Benefits from a sympathetic lead performance by Jeffrey Dean Morgan...
John Beifuss-Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)

Underwhelming supernatural horror picture - somewhat creepy but easily forgettable.
Susan Granger-SSG Syndicate

Borndel delivers just what is expected for a visual horror film, but besides the reference to dybbuks, there is nothing at all new or fresh.
Mark R. Leeper-Mark Leeper's Reviews

The problem . . . is that all the spooky hokum has gotten in the way of what might have been a nicely rendered family drama about the toll of divorce
Andrea Chase-Killer Movie Reviews

Much better than it needs to be given its late-summer horror flick placement.
John Wirt-Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA)

The story of the box itself seems more frightening, whether you believe it or not, than this assembly-line tale of a young girl whose suburban family is haunted after the Dybbuk inhabits her soul.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

[Director] Bornedal never slows it all down enough to give you time for the hairs on the back of your neck to wake up.
Graham Young-Birmingham Mail

This effective little creeper is the only Judaic pastiche of The Exorcist you're likely to see this year. That alone gives it a jump on the umpteen other evil/possessed-child films that have become a seemingly monthly genre staple of late.
Marc Savlov-Austin Chronicle

Offers nothing new without being actively terrible.

Watch Trouble with the Curve Movie with Full HD Format

Gus Lobel (Clint Eastwood) has been one of the best scouts in baseball for decades, but, despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with him. Nevertheless, Gus-who can tell a pitch just by the crack of the bat-refuses to be benched for what may be the final innings of his career. He may not have a choice. The front office of the Atlanta Braves is starting to question his judgment, especially with the country's hottest batting phenom on deck for the draft. The one person who might be able to help is also the one person Gus would never ask: his daughter, Mickey (Amy Adams), an associate at a high-powered Atlanta law firm whose drive and ambition has put her on the fast track to becoming partner. Against her better judgment, and over Gus's objections, Mickey joins him on his latest scouting trip to North Carolina, jeopardizing her own career to save his. -- (C) Warner Bros.

Review For Trouble with the Curve

Eastwood and Adams do the best they can with the cornball sentimentality and cheesy dialogue, but first-time director Robert Lorenz merely photographs the on- and off-field action. Give it a pass.
Nigel Floyd-Time Out

Lorenz ... lays in everything methodically, fully, but without much invention or energy; you can imagine each plot development ten minutes before it arrives.
David Denby-New Yorker

Eastwood, in his 80s, looks a lot trimmer than some of the performers in this film half his age. He may be the only octogenarian actor who has to play older than his age to be convincing.
Peter Rainer-Christian Science Monitor

Nobody would pay much attention to this plodding but good-hearted film if not for its star, Clint Eastwood, although he's just dialing in the go-to Cantankerous Old Man mode on which he has relied for a decade or so.
Connie Ogle-Miami Herald

This isn't the worst performance Eastwood has given in his 57-year career, but it's his least inspired in about a decade.
James Berardinelli-ReelViews

Trouble With the Curve" is a solid double down the line.
Richard Roeper-Richard Roeper.com

It does so much wrong, and it is so proud of itself for it. But it's too much fun watching these actors have such fun.
Will Leitch-Deadspin

As much as I loved Clint's squinty-eyed punditry at the RNC, his latest pitch for a mitt is - to quote Bob Uecker - just a bit outside.
Al Alexander-The Patriot Ledger

From Clint Eastwood's lovable old coot persona to Amy Adams' iron-willed combativeness, this film is a stunning, beautiful surprise. A sports movie, a romance without sentimentality, and the emotional trauma of a family secret.
Jules Brenner-Cinema Signals

Seldom have I seen a movie so adamantly opposed to nuance.
Eric D. Snider-Pajiba

Like the baseball diamond that features so prominently in his film, we all know which base will be dutifully tapped next and that a home-run for the characters is inevitable.
Amber Wilkinson-Eye for Film

This feels like a fairly disposable entry in Eastwood's filmography, and represents a confident if uninspiring start to Lorenz's directorial career.
Martin Roberts-Fan The Fire

Seemingly written by people who have either never seen a baseball game or haven't followed the sport in years
Stephen Silver-EntertainmentTell

A clichéd motion picture with a couple of rip-snortingly bizarre moments that undermine its own credibility as mainstream, comfortable entertainment.
William Bibbiani-CraveOnline

It's basically Moanyball.
Matt Looker-TheShiznit.co.uk

But if [Clint] ever wants to belatedly challenge for an acting Oscar - as he so nearly did with Gran Torino - then he needs to take the Amour route and really make us feel for the character.
Graham Young-Birmingham Post

Director Robert Lorenz does a proficient, if unremarkable job corralling all the cliches into a pleasing, predictable package...And let's face it: nobody serves out a big, well-deserved dose of comeuppance like Clint. Even without a gun.
Jim Schembri-3AW

A classy old school character drama that dips into sentimentality in its final stages, but remains first-rate in every other aspect.
Erin Free-FILMINK (Australia)

A frustrating yet heart-warming film that misses the mark due to a predictable and dated script, not to mention the poor performances from the supporting cast.
Yasmin Vought-MovieFIX

The narrative feels almost intentionally hokey and diagrammatic, a framework that gives the actors freedom to display their best-known qualities.
Jake Wilson-The Age (Australia)

Hopefully, this decent but uncomplicated movie isn't a final acting hurrah for Clint Eastwood.
Craig Mathieson-The Sunday Age

I was a bit underwhelmed by this, I must say.
Margaret Pomeranz-At the Movies (Australia)

Well, I have got nothing against a bit of ludditeism. You know I'm a big fan of Clint Eastwood.
David Stratton-At the Movies (Australia)

Watching this film (agonisingly protracted at almost two hours) is a little like spending time with an curmudgeonly uncle you hate visiting.
Shane Danielsen-sbs.com.au

For what it is, it no doubt succeeds. It's just that Eastwood usually strives for something more.
John J. Puccio-Movie Metropolis

Randy Brown's script is a luddite fantasy that has Eastwood grumbling and telling technology to get off his baseball diamond...

Song for Marion stars Terence Stamp as Arthur, a grumpy pensioner who can't understand why his wife Marion (Vanessa Redgrave) would want to embarrass herself singing silly songs with her unconventional local choir. POST TENEBRAS LUX ("light after darkness"), ostensibly the story of an upscale, urban family whose move to the Mexican countryside results in domestic crises and class friction, is a stunningly photographed, impressionistic psychological portrait of a family and their place within the sublime, unforgiving natural world. Reygadas conjures a host of unforgettable, ominous images: a haunting sequence at dusk as Reygadas's real-life daughter wanders a muddy field and farm animals loudly circle and thunder and lightning threaten; a glowing-red demon gliding through the rooms of a home; a husband and wife visiting a swingers' bathhouse with rooms named after famous philosophers. By turns entrancing and mystifying, POST TENEBRAS LUX palpably explores the primal conflicts of the human condition. (c) Strand

Review For Post Tenebras Lux

The result calls for a viewing as different as looking at a Vermeer against Rothko or de Kooning or multiple other modern painters.
Stanley Kauffmann-The New Republic

Along with Bela Tarr and Terrence Malick, Carlos Reygadas is one of today's few genuinely religious filmmakers.
Peter Keough-Boston Globe

Moviegoers beholden to clean narrative may feel they need their own explanatory GPS and audio guide. But the richer reward lies in allowing oneself to be led by this gifted director's instinct for lyrical, sensory exploration.
Robert Abele-Los Angeles Times

This one delivers a grand pictorialism and piercing existential moments that float atop the maundering narrative like noodles in soup.
J. R. Jones-Chicago Reader

It's as if Reygadas started with a sprawling cache of visual ideas and then tried to find some way to organize them all. The effect can be frustrating at times, but also surprising and beguiling.
Scott Tobias-NPR

Like a jumbled-up set of nesting boxes, the scenes make sense individually (kind of). The hard part is fitting them together.
Farran Smith Nehme-New York Post

A bewildering array of arresting imagery - glowing devils, self-decapitation, joyless sex clubs and public school rugby matches - that seems to confrontationally resist reconciliation.
Chris Buckle-The Skinny

If there's a unifying concept to all of this it's the idea of defilement.
Josh Larsen-LarsenOnFilm

Entrancingly beautiful and calculated to confound
Violet Lucca-Film Comment Magazine

Muddled and atmospheric, the result is more frustrating than fascinating.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

Emotionally and intellectually demanding, but occasionally exhausting and tedious.
Avi Offer-NYC Movie Guru

If greeted with enough openness and interest, Post Tenebras Lux's seemingly incoherent string of scenes reveals itself as a carefully executed emotional structure that begs for, and rewards, repeated viewings.

At 85, not only does Tony Bennett still have the smoothest pipes in the music business, he’s got the kind of philosophy that has made him one of the most beloved and respected performers of the last six decades. Made with as much class and refinement as Tony himself, this is an insider’s look at the icon as he records his latest duets collection with stars like Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, andâ€"bittersweetlyâ€"the late Amy Winehouse.

Review For The Zen Of Bennett

We see an art form bridge generations with a strange mixture of grace, joy and melancholy.
Robert Abele-Los Angeles Times

Like the singer himself - smooth and classy.
G. Allen Johnson-San Francisco Chronicle

Like with any great singer, it's often the telling pauses of the man born Anthony Benedetto that say the most in "The Zen of Bennett."
Lou Lumenick-New York Post

These elements leave the documentary hanging somewhere between a glorified making-of album promo and a more in-depth portrait of the artist.
Dennis Harvey-Variety

Friendly doc offers plentiful guest stars but only one perspective on the singer's career.
John DeFore-Hollywood Reporter

The way Mr. Bennett talks is the way he sings. There is no subtext, only the song conveyed with knowledge, heart, a sophisticated sense of swing and a positive attitude.
Stephen Holden-New York Times

It feels a bit like a classed-up infomercial at times, but it's still as much a treat to witness Bennett's process as it is to see him interact with today's young stars.
Mike Scott-Times-Picayune

As simple as Tony Bennett's life is, his magic could've used a documentary less simple-minded than The Zen of Bennett to explain it.

Review For Least Among Saints

This quietly affecting indie film, about a Middle East war vet and the 10-year-old boy he takes under his wing, gently pulls the heartstrings while making dramatic missteps along the way.
Jeff Shannon-Seattle Times

The results are too predictable.
Farran Smith Nehme-New York Post

Though both actors deliver performances more credible than the plot that frames them, their authenticity only highlights the script's affection for improbable coincidences and an ending even Garry Marshall might consider too pat.
Jeannette Catsoulis-New York Times

A film in which any authority figure who can't magically sober up and play surrogate daddy for a spell is treated as either a meddler or a well-meaning, do-nothing skeptic.
Simon Abrams-Village Voice

The top notch production qualities, great direction, and fantastic ensemble performances make this film a definite recommendation.
Felix Vasquez Jr.-Cinema Crazed

Excels in performances resonating with raw intensity and dramatic authenticity. But while earnestly inspired by the tragic circumstances facing US soldiers in war for real, the material forming the basis here is without historical context, and it shows.
Prairie Miller-Long Island Press

It all ends on a grace note that feels false but caps an otherwise solid if predictable drama.
Marc Savlov-Austin Chronicle

Earnestness combines with pedestrian technique in Martin Papazian's well-meaning but clumsy film.
Frank Swietek-One Guy's Opinion

Papazian overloads the film with contrived melodrama and forced sentimentality.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

This entry in the returning-vet genre should probably have gone straight to the Lifetime channel.
David Noh-Film Journal International

As a portrait of a self-pitying drunk's wet dream of inexplicable atonement, it's fairly effective, but as a story meant to take place on some rational version of planet Earth, it's utterly hopeless.
